Spider veins consist of isolated dilated blood vessels that may appear on the face or other regions in the form of small red spots. Patients with couperosis present multiple spider veins.
What Systems Can Be Used To Treat Spider Vein?
There is a specific laser, the V Beam laser, for the treatment of very fine vascular lesions. Other lasers, such as Nd-Yag or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) may be used for deeper vessels.
What Do The Sessions And Recovery Consist Of?
Usually spider veins are eliminated in one session. Treatment is not painful and only presents a temporary darkening of the area, which can be camouflaged with make-up.
