Redefiner facial contoursAtleanAtlean is a facial filler made up of Beta tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) suspended in a non-reticulated hyaluronic acid gel, that softens the fine lines in the cheeks and redefines the face after infiltration. With the passing of time, both the thickness of the skin as well as collagen generation are reduced, which give way to wrinkles and flaccid facial skin. Atlean fights both signs of ageing combining short and long term action: -Immediate action: the hyaluronic acid in Atlean causes an instant tensing effect, thanks to its rehydrating ability that provides the skin with smoothness and luminosity. This effect is maintained for 4 to 6 weeks. -Progressive action: beta tricalcium phosphate stimulates the fibroblasts or cells responsible for the generation of new collagen and elastin, achieving gradual and long-lasting improvement of the subcutaneous structures and reducing flaccidity in the lower third of the face. Early rehydration and neo-synthesis of collagen produce facial rejuvenation with results that last for approximately 12 months. After this time, the beta tricalcium phosphate is degrade in the form of phosphate and calcium molecules which are reabsorbed naturally by the organism through regular metabolic processes. Atlean is especially indicated for light to moderate facial flaccidity in the mid and lower area of the face for patients aged 30 to 55, provided the following are not present: 1. Hypersensitivity or allergy to any of its components. The recommended protocol for an optimum result en lasting over time is one monthly session in at least three consecutive sessions. Treatments with anticoagulants and AINEs (AAS and Ibuprofen) in the three days prior to the session, aimed at limiting the risk of bleeding and bruising.
